This page gives a brief overview of my recent working history. Those with a password can access my CV and various source files.
I have been using Flash commercially since version 4, and contracting since 2000 (primarily as a Flash Developer).
My first contract was in Dublin, implementing a range of utilities including Flash email and banking applications, before moving to Surrey for a six month contract with InterClubNet
(producing flash and DHTML work for FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation). More recently I spent two months working from home for Hutchinson-3G, making user-help and streaming media applications for testing with their 3G mobile handsets.
I am a moderator for the Flash MX forum at actionscript.org
and I have spent my spare time learning PHP/mySQL, XML, and getting to grips with the abundance of new features in Flash MX. Skills I am currently updating include PHP, mySQL and Object Oriented Programming within the context of Flash MX (previously prototype based OOP).
For the last six months I have been working on a private venture which I hope will soon be made publicly available.
With the recent release of Flash 7 (Flash MX 2004 Professional) I have decided to update my content. Anyone wishing to see older files in relation to a job offer should email me here.
Anyone who has a flash related query is also welcome to email me using the same address, but I would prefer questions to be directed via the MX forum at actionscripts.org
