New Tutorial: I've been receiving a fair few emails asking how to load images in to Flash using XML, so you can now find a new tutorial on the site. It covers loading images via XML, loading swfs, spacing/padding/layout issues and more. It follows on from CSS in Flash and XML in Flash so if you haven't followed those you may want to do so.

Macromedia have released the very first patch for the flash authoring tool (ever - well, apart from the Mac patches). It address 34 known crash-issues and more.
I applaud Macromedia for doing this - as having to endure the numerous bugs in MX was extremely irritating.
There is of course the counter argument that some of these bugs should have been fixed prior to product-release, but to be honest I'm just happy to see something being done about them!

For those of you who may be using a trial version - good news. Go here and you will be able to extend the trial for another 30 days!

Oh btw: I'm looking to get some real-world php experience, so if anyone in the Bath or Bristol area of England wants to exploit this, send me a mail :)
