2005 update

Five months ago I started a contract with Cambridge University to work on a series of integrated projects alongside Guy Watson (Flash Guru) and Johannes Nel (Hangalot/Lennel). Guy departed before my due start date, but during this time I've been working with Johannes and a small group of extremely talented developers, helping to maintain/expand the existing code base. This has certainly been an AS2 baptism of fire for me and has consumed nearly all of my spare time (not wanting to miss the opportunity of learning from some of the most respected names in the industry). Hence a lack of new tutorials and blog posts. I hope to start posting some new AS2 tutorials in the very near future, time permitting.

I've also taken advantage of my proximity to London and started attending the London MMUG meetings, and would urge others to do likewise if they have the opportunity.
